2D stratified turbulence

Oceanic statistical measures are often interpreted as the signature of internal waves. Unfortunately, nobody has never been able to reproduce ocean statistics with numerical simulations, and in particular numerical simulations involving only waves!

We study 2D stratified turbulence using simulations carried out with the code FluidSim.
