The ERES team merged with team HOULE early 2012 to form the new team MEIGE.

The research activities of the ERES group deal with process studies in stratified rotating fluids, with a growing perspective of environmental applications. These applications mainly focus upon atmospheric and oceanic phenomena at local scale, with topographic effects playing a major role in the flow dynamics. Our studies are conducted with complementary approaches, namely numerical and theoretical modelling, laboratory experiments and we also take part to field campaigns.
