Tilting flume

The LEGI tilting flume, 10 m long and 35 cm wide, is used to study boundary layer hydrodynamics and sediment transport. A sediment injection system has been designed and built in 2019 (ANR JCJC SHEETFLOW, J. Chauchat and ANR MEASURE, D. Hurther) to allow for intensive sediment tansport experiments.

This installation is also used as Practical Lab for the 2nd year students of the engineering school ENSE3 (GINP).
